    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026)

The Editorial Board of the Nexus Junior Scientists Journal (NJSJ) is exceptionally proud to present our inaugural edition, Volume 1, Issue 1. This landmark release officially launches our mission to democratize scientific publishing and amplify the voices of the next generation of global researchers.

This multidisciplinary issue showcases the critical curiosity, methodological rigor, and innovative thinking of Early Career Researchers (ECRs), undergraduate students, and high school scientists. The selected manuscripts span a diverse array of academic disciplines, ranging from engineering solutions for environmental challenges to critical meta-analyses in the life sciences and humanities.

At Nexus, we believe that science has no age limit. The papers published in this volume represent more than just scientific inquiry; they mark the successful transition of young scholars from classroom learners to active contributors within the global academic community. This was made possible through our mentorship-driven, double-blind peer review process, which focuses on constructive development rather than mere critique.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our pioneer authors for trusting NJSJ with their early-career research. We also thank our inaugural Reviewer Board and academic mentors for their dedication to shaping these emerging scientists.

All articles in this issue are published Open Access (CC BY 4.0) to ensure maximum visibility and impact. We invite the global academic community, educators, and students to read, cite, and be inspired by the foundational work of these future scientific leaders.
